Keeping Beeeee-usy

I have been more busy than I would of imagined being unemployed and all at the moment.

The other day I got a call about a webdesign opportunity, and being over excited I jumped the gun, and told the guy I would come in for an interview the following day. Well being new to IL, I later realized the interview I accepted was well over 50 miles away. I really want to get back into doing design as my primary focus. I'm currently trying to work with the employer to see if they will allow me to telecommute. I'm awaiting a response from them, hopefully it is good news.

Lately I have been having a lot of goals for myself. I have been doing a lot of research into looking back into going to school, I have not had good luck in the past due to my Associate degree being from a Nationally accredited school, and ones I am trying to get into being regionally accredited. I'm trying my luck with an online school this time, and I hope all goes well ;) I have been attending my WeightWatchers weekly, and so far so good...not losing as fast as I would like to but I am not being overly strict on my diet either, so it all goes hand in hand.

I want to slow down, take some time out for myself to also learn some new webdesign techniques, brush up on my photoshop skills, learn some more web development stuff. Time just goes by too damn fast, or I need to learn how to manage the time I do have available better.

Leaving Columbus a Goodbye

10/2/09, I left Columbus. In my process of leaving everyone was so friendly to me, and made me realize that they care more than I would of thought. Friends have been hard for me to come by in the past. It is a good thing to know now that I can make them, keep in touch, and visit later.

My first week here in my 'Land of Lincoln' has gone by much faster than anticipated. I thought I would be having a lot of time to do nothing with, however I have found quite the opposite. I have been spending a lot of time looking for jobs, looking at local schools, running errands, working out, cooking, and more. Its only October and the weather is already very cold, but I already feel like I am enjoying myself here with my sweetheart.
